The only way to feel fresh and clean about yourself is to bathe almost daily. If not, your immune system and body is likely to be infused with bacteria, viruses and even fungi on the outer layers of your skin. Those who do not pay heed to bathing tend to have foul body odors. But that is not the only reason you have to bath every day.

Another essential factor is for you to relax and de-stress your mind after a hectic day at work or college. However, you do not always have to purchase expensive skincare products to soothe your physical appearance or go to sauna baths. The best way is to opt for DIY ideas or hacks. Now put on your ladies bathrobes and go through the following tips for utmost relaxation while bathing.

1. Set Up the Mood:

To have an amazingly relaxing bath, all you need to do is first set up the mood by lighting up a few candles around your bathtub, listening to music on your phone and covering your eyes completely. Make sure to moisturize your body before you enter the bathtub so it gives you soothing feeling on your skin. Cherry on top, sprinkle a few scented flowers in the tub while you are at it.

2. Ensure Privacy for Relaxation:

A relaxing bath should be taken when you have completely shut off external disturbances. It is the same as when you are going through a detailed study session and someone randomly barges in to disturb you. You end up feeling not concentrated. The same applies for taking a bath to relax. The best time to exfoliate your skin and meditate your mind is weekends or especially when you are done with your office or academic-related tasks.

3. Have just the Right Temperature:

You have to set the running water to a befitting temperature. Hot water is likely to peel or burn your skin if you consider taking hour long baths. Do not opt for extremely cold water either. You will just end up shivering and falling sick. The perfect bath water is somewhere between 35 to 45 Celsius. Your skin will feel rejuvenated and soothed up.

4. Always Clean Your Bathtub:

Before you decide to take a nice relaxing bath, it is mandatory for you to clean the bathtub beforehand. Of course, you are visiting an expensive spa to relax yourself so you have to suffice with what you have at home. And if you still choose not to clean the bathtub then it is just very unsanitary from your end. The cleaning steps are quite simple. Just get a sponge, anti bacterial liquid soap and a few cleaning tools and you are good to go. Ensure you have cleaned any existing mold on the sides of the tub.

5. After the Bathing Session Ends:

Once you are done with your bathing session, you are required to follow few simple steps to keep your skin soft and smoothened. Apple some flower-scented cream on your arms and then proceed with applying essential oils. That will stop your skin from drying up in every weather, be it cold or humid.
